Reviews and Ratings
This hotel was a gem! Located conveniently right next to the old town and maritime museum, it offers clean, well-furnished, and comfortable rooms. The service was a mix of unfriendly encounters but with standout friendly staff members like the bartender. The location was great for exploring historic sites and enjoying harbor views, although not everyone may find it ideal. The dining experience had some hits and misses, but the facilities were overall satisfactory.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms offered a nice waterfront view of the Delaware River but resembled a cheaper Holiday Inn in Richmond VA. The proximity to the rooftop brought partial city, water, and bridge views, although noise from the corridors was a downside. We could leave our doors open yet close off the hall door for privacy.
I had prebooked the 555 Square foot suite with a balcony months in advance at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice safety feature in the elevators. The service was top-notch, with a manager and Natasha Cordero providing 1st Class treatment and tremendous courtesy. The hotel's location, right in Penns Landing next to the Seaport Museum and Spruce Harbour Park, was exactly what I was looking for. The dining experience was convenient but had to pay for parking, and the facilities were impressive.
I found the hotel to have a mix of positives and negatives. It's great that the rooms allowed us to have privacy with the hall door closed, but it was disappointing to find a dusty suite. Additionally, having to pay extra for parking on top of the room cost was inconvenient.
